Battery Temperature Sensor – Use With SCC-30AB

Description

For use specifically with the SCC-30AB Samlex Charge Controller, the temperature sensor will regulate voltage to your batteries according to your battery’s temperature. In higher than optimal temperatures (over-voltage), batteries are at risk for boiling/overheating. In cold settings (under-voltage), they’re at risk for sulphation. As the temperature of your battery rises or falls beyond optimal operating temperatures, the sensor adjusts the voltage to protect the battery and improve its lilfespan.
